"First Grade . . . First steps start at the library" backpack program introduces first graders to the wonders that can be found at their local library. This program encourages children to begin a tradition of lifelong learning at the library. The backpack distribution program is in its sixth year.
Library school assistance to employees helps library employees with some library school-related expenses. The program encourages library school attendance.
